Be a speaker or performer

or nominate one

We are always seeking inspirational speakers and performers who have made a positive impact in the world to join one of our upcoming events.

Use our online form to suggest a speaker / performer or to nominate yourself. If you do not know the individual personally but feel they have something to say and should be heard, share what you do know and why you think they should be a part of TEDxCincinnati. We are always seeking inspirational speakers and performers who have made a positive impact in the world to join one of our upcoming events.

What nominees need to know

  • Nominations:  Note that all nominations can remain within our database for up to 18 months. We have reset our database effective January 2015, if you have applied before feel free to submit your entry again.
  • Events: When reviewing nominations, we consider the nominee for Any future TEDxCincinnati event including but not limited to the annual Main Stage event. The main stage event includes over 600 participants. Other TEDxCincinnati events include up to 200 participants.
  • How do we choose speakers: Not every nomination will end up on a TEDxCincinnati event, but you can learn more about the process of what we consider by reading about it here.

What speakers need to know

  • At the event: Speakers will sit in the audience and enter the stage from the audience. Speakers are expected to stay for the whole event and to mingle with the audience during breaks.
  • During the talk: The talk must not go over the speaker’s allotted time.
  • After the talk: Speakers are expected to remain at the event throughout the day; at minimum, they’re expected to stay through the conversation break following their talk, so attendees can approach them and ask questions.

If this describes you or someone you know, please fill out the following form. If you have any questions about the application form and/or event, please contact us at tedxcincinnati@gmail.com
